The APS PowerTools Extension (APT Extension) allows automatic loading of drivers (from media) and mounting of removable drives upon insertion of media. By default, the APT Extension will scan all buses, SCSI IDs, and applicable SCSI LUNs during startup. Use the APS Mounter to turn off scanning for specific buses or devices. Note: the APT Extension does not support CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW (formerly known as CD-E), and DVD drives. Users who wish to support these drives should use APS CD-AutoCache, available separately. Unnecessary if you do not have those removable media drives.
